Samsung launched the Galaxy J8 and Galaxy J6 smartphones in India, n late May, along with the Galaxy A6+ and Galaxy A6. The Samsung Galaxy J6 is available in two variants –4GB RAM with 64GB storage for Rs 16,490 and 3GB RAM with 32GB onboard storage for Rs 13,990. Now, the prices have been slashed by Rs 500 for Galaxy J6 64GB variant in India, and it is now available for Rs 15,990.
A Mumbai smartphone vendor Mahesh Telecom first posted about the price slash, and the revised price is visible on Samsung’s online store too at the time of filing the store.
On the Galaxy J6, ICICI Bank credit and debit card users can get Rs 1,500 discount, which brings the cost down to Rs 11,490 and Rs 13,490 for the 32GB and 64GB variants, respectively.
The same cashback offer is also applicable on purchases made using Paytm Mall. That’s not all, Samsung is also offering free one-time screen replacement along with the smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy J6 features a 5.6-inch HD+ (1480×720 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is an Exynos 7870 SoC paired with 3GB RAM with 32GB storage or 4GB RAM with 64GB storage options.
In the photography department, it comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera with LED flash. To keep things ticking is a 3,000mAh battery, and connectivity options include dual SIM card slots, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE with VoLTE. In the software department, the smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience UI on top.
